Beartone Stringworks was established in 2018 by me with one mission: to bring a reliable, high-quality Amplifier and Instrument Repair Shop to the Chattanooga, TN area. My passion for excellence is what inspired me to open up my shop and continues to drive me to this day. All my repairs are completed with meticulous detail, resulting in a product that is as good as new...or better!!!

My shop was previously an Authorized Mesa Boogie repair/service station. I can still help with Mesa problems or mods...just not Warranty work.

With approximately 20 years of hands on experience, I've repaired, modified, and maintained quite an array of instruments...ranging from vintage Gibson and Fender Custom Shop electric/acoustic guitars to modern day boutique guitars and basses such as PRS, Suhr, and Warrior guitars.
I also have experience in working on quirky, not so common custom built pieces.
Our Services
Our Standard Shop Repair Rate is $75 per hour labor, and there is a 1/2 Hour Minimum Bench fee for Any Repair.
These prices are estimates only for common repairs and do not include the cost of materials (strings) and / or parts. As all repairs are different depending on the guitar and what is needed, the price for the actual repair may vary.
Please note, we cannot be held responsible for any damage to instruments left without a case or gig bag, so please bring the instrument in with the appropriate case.
